For anyone not aware, there are two consultations underway on the South Norfolk Development Plan: (1) The Preferred Options for the Development Management Policies and (2) The Amendments to the Preferred Options of the Site Allocations and Policies. The information below is from a South Norfolk Council Consultee letter and gives details on where to find the information on their website and where to make your comments/representations. Remember that Spooner Row is included as part of this process, although it doesn’t appear to have been listed in any of the Site Specific Amendments. Development Management Policies Development Plan Document
When adopted, the Development Management Policies will determine how the Council carries out its development management responsibilities to promote sustainable development in determining planning applications.
Consultation on the next stage of our Development Management Policies DPD is taking place between Wednesday 27th March 2013 and Wednesday 22nd May 2013. Having taken account of comments received in the Issues and Options consultation last year, the Development Plan Document has now been progressed to Preferred Options stage. We would like you to take this opportunity to give us your views on our preferred options for the Development Management Policies and the Interim Sustainability Appraisal.

Site Specific Allocations and Policies Document - Amendments to Preferred Options Consultation
Responses received to the Preferred Options consultation on the Site Specific Allocations and Policies Document last year have been assessed, and as a result some changes to the Preferred Options are proposed.
Some minor changes will be included in the Pre-Submission version of the Document to be presented to Full Council in June 2013 but more significant changes which affect the allocation of sites or the development boundary in some towns and villages are the subject of this 8-week consultation before the Pre-Submission version is finalised. The towns and villages affected are; Aldeby; Bramerton; Broome; Colney; Costessey(Longwater); Diss; Earsham; Ellingham/Kirby Cane; Framingham Earl;Gillingham; Harleston; Langley with Hardley; Little Melton; Loddon; Pulham Market; Roydon; Saxlingham Nethergate; Seething; Thurton/Ashby St Mary; Trowse; Wortwell.
These more significant amendments can affect the allocation of sites or the development boundary that was proposed and we are therefore inviting comments on these amendments.
