For some weeks Carleton Rode Parish Council have kindly kept me in the picture re the retrospective planning application regarding reorganisation of an in-vessel composting facility,installation of electricty kiosk,storage tanks etc at Double Banks Farm , Carleton Rode because one of the HGV haul routes for this plant is via Station Road Spooner Row. The Norfolk County Council planning application number is C/7/2011/7028
I have been monitoring the issue but unfortunately Carleton Rode Parish meetings coincide with the Wymondham Parish meetings.I am grateful to the Spooner Row resident who attended one Carleton Rode meeting on my behalf and reported back.
Fortunately I was able to attend their last meeting and was able to speak to the rep from the company.He confirmed the information that I had received from the Officer at County Hall on 17th April 2012 which was," The applicant has now revised the proposals." "The applicant no longer seeks permission to increase the annual tonnage of waste brought onto the site" "No increase in traffic is proposed a part of this application"
I have asked the County Council to inform us of any future planning applications where the HGV route could impact on Station Road, Spooner Row.
