We have noticed tonight that the chicken waste lorry which travels through the village every evening has spilt pieces of chicken guts all over the road. We have contacted the council who said it was highways dept problem, who then said it is councils problem. However, if this is not cleared up tonight, think of the stench by morning and the poor children walking to school. 9
Just to update neither SNC, The Highways Dept or the police really wanted anything to do with this last night and eventually SNC called back and said that there was nothing that could be done until morning. Is this what we really pay our council tax for? Who knows what vermin were along Station Road last night and potentially in our gardens. I have now had a call from SNC saying someone is now coming out to look at the situation and assess how to clean it up,too little too late it you ask me maybe one for our local councillors,or potential councillors to take up?
What with repulsive chicken guts strewn over the village's main street, a stinky heap of soil dumped on the recreation ground and a rubbish broadband speed, Norwich must be very proud of Spooner Row as its Service Village (or dismayed) !
