Does anyone know why we have so much smoke/burning going on in the village at the moment?
It seems that Chapel Road experienced burning for most of last week, with the smoke on Thursday and Friday afternoon particularly bad as I went into Wymondham.
Then coming back through the village this evening yet more smoke drifting down to the pub.
There seems to be a new 'disease' sweeping Spooner Row with bonfires. There have been several in the Chapel Road area. And not one bonfire 'owner' has had the decency to inform neighbours that they are having one, so that washing can be got in, and windows shut! Thanks for nothing anti social people!!
It gets stinky with bonfires over the back of you in School Lane too, its not just the Chapel Road area. I get fed up with having to close my windows. What are these people burning???
TOP TIPS for bonfires/parties/fireworks: if you have the courtesy to let your neighbours know in advance it goes a long way to avoiding nuisance and improving neighbourly relations.
