Sadly a large black & white Tom cat has died in our garden in Chapel Loke. He had been visiting for several years but we could never find an owner so he may have been feral. I am posting this just in case anyone is missing him.
Think you will find that that is Thomas who lived at 1 cantley villas when Mr and Mrs watts died they had three cats and where left at the house to fend for them self's.
Thank you for the information 'anonymous'. We think this cat was killed by poison - have you any idea what has happened to the other cats - are they still'fending for themselves'? Has anyone told the RSPCA?.
If the 3 cats were left to fend for themselves, then this is very irresponsible of the family to let this happen.
I hope the cat wasn't poisoned - what a horrible way to go. It was only recently that we had a cat in the village that was cruelly shot at close range and the owners were left with enormous vet bills. Inhumane treatment of any animal is not acceptable and we don't want it around here!
