Yes, we have! We spoke to O2 yesterday and they confirmed there is a problem in the area with one of the masts. It should be fixed on Wednesday. In the meantime, if you switch your phone to 2G, it will work OK - it did for us!!!
While I was out this morning I diverted all my voice calls on my O2 mobile to my house landline, and I've been walking around the garden twice a day hoping to catch one bar of connectivity to pick up texts. Of course O2 are going to give us all refunds on our subscriptions!!!!!!
Signal was poor to start with but this is HOPELESS.
I have complained twice to O2. I engaged in a "webchat" Monday 11th July when I was informed that there was problem with the phone mast and that it was being fixed on Wednesday 13th July. I was in London Tuesday and Wednesday, 12th and 13th July, phone was working perfectly from there. Got back to Wattlefield and it was not. Couldn't send or receive texts, couldn't make or receive phone calls, couldn't receive or send any e mails. Engaged in another "webchat" on Thursday 14th July. The person that I was communicating was absolutely useless. Kept asking me to turn my phone off and then on again and when I told them that it didn't work at all on Monday, did in London on Tuesday and Wednesday and now didn't work on Thursday, I was told it must be my SIM and that they would send me another one. At this time I was furious and decided to actually talk to someone. I dialled a premium rate call number and was on the phone for over 50 minutes when I was told "it must be a network problem". By that time steam was coming out of my ears as I could have told them that within 5 seconds. I was told that this would be fixed within 5 working days i.e. tomorrow. I am not convinced that this is going to happen.
I think if everyone complained that has a problem then we might get somewhere.
