I have today received notification of site investigation drilling works in Station road from the National grid which was planned for September.
It is not anything to do with fracking and part of an investigation to ‘manage’ a former industrial site
On or about 14th Nov. work will commence to drill 13 boreholes to test for ground conditions which will take in all about a week .
The holes will be covered and made flush and the process will make some sucking noise and engine noise and might be accompanied by some oily smells . Any gas smells should be reported in the normal way to 0800 111 999.
