The developers are doing well in Spooner Row, that's 3 water mains problems caused by them in the last 4 days. We will have to pick up the bill for this wastage and damage, not the developers. Spooner Row is already prone to flooding. Never mind, the council and developers have their profits to look forward to.
Yet again, developers have caused havoc in the village. Having just spoken with the Anglian Water guy who was first on the scene, it appears that the workmen may have known about the damage they had caused, and left it running when they finished work for the day!!! This is just a thought of course, maybe they didn't notice a large amount of water filling the hole they had just dug, MAYBE. but I leave to others to draw their own conclusions about this hapless workforce, I think the site foreman needs to tighten his grasp on his workers.
The developers are not held accountable for the damage they cause. Profit is all they care about. If the council rented out the road and made the developers pay for any damage they caused you would soon find that they would be more considerate and wouldn't cause such havoc. Another suggestion that the council will ignore.
That's roughly what we were told on Friday, but it didn't come back until 02:35. Good luck though. Like the idiot above says you could always go to M&S in the garage on the A11 to get some food and water!
The 'idiot' you quoted actually said this can't be described as ....(edited)..... Big difference. Why would you need food? No wonder the planners get carte blanche. I completely oppose the opposition in both words and actions but hyperbole, over-reaction and exaggeration make it so much harder to be taken seriously.
