NCC Highways were out yesterday to check this problem. The drain was jetted but it appears to be blocked due to root damage. A job has been booked for a gang to attend and dig out.
I reported this problem following complaints to me from residents in Guilers lane two days ago and am pleased that NCC are on the case. I also reported the flooding by the new Glenacre estate at the same time.

Its good a gang will attend to the root problem in Guilers Lane but what is going to be the long-term solution to the highway problems caused by the building of the new estate? Being that its a lorry route and all that.
