On account of the wind last night it wouls appear that the power pole near the river and railway has partially been blown over in the corner of the field and remains sort of upright on account of some leylandii trees accidentally propping it up . We obviously still have power but this is near and connects to the pole which crosses the field and supplies most in if not all of Chapel road and properties.

I know at least two of us have reported it in Chapel loke where we can see the problem as most people will not be able to do but of course we still have power so our repairs are not taking priority. If you are having power supply issues please let Power network know by phone if necessary or if an intermittent failure by use of the net. The more who complain the higher up the list we go

The electrics have been out in the village since midday and isolated as the situation is quite serious.

Our electricity supply was not properly restored until the early hours of Saturday morning. The resulting flickering low voltage caused damage to electrical equipment and heating system which UK Power network apologised for, but do not provide any compensation.
