Dog fouling, again!

So sad that wherever we walk in the village we see garden verges and road verges covered in dog faeces.  It really isn't difficult to carry a couple of polythene bags and clean up after your dog rather than leave it for the householder to have to remove before they can mow their verge or worse, not see it and mow, or for other dog owners, walkers or children to inadvertently tread in on their walks.  As a dog owners ourselves we feel ashamed that it must be some of the people and dogs we meet on our walks who are responsible for this disgusting and inconsiderate behaviour.

Please let's show respect for each other and our village environment and keep it clean.  Bag it and bin it, either in the bins provided or when you get home.

Amazingly we have regular dog fouling outside our house which is ironic when there is a poo bin 10 yds away. Not seen who it is yet . Also had poo bags dropped into our bins on bin collection days !!! Great when it the recycling bin !!!

Areas of the playing field are also covered in mess, there's a dog waste bin there too.  This isn't a bin availability issue, it's simply people who don't give a damn where their dog cr@ps or if they do pick it up where they leave it.  These people are our friends, neighbours, people we eat and drink with down the pub, worship with at the church, pass the time of day with in the street and so on.

A read through this forum suggests a community who on the surface seem to want many of the same things - less traffic, better parking, better broadband, an independent parish, fairer planning decisions, public transport to mention just a few recent topics - but who have so little respect for each other and the law that they leave their dogs unpleasant and potentially health-threatening (to people and other animals) parcels for someone else to deal with or tread in.

Sad.  So very sad.

I bet it is just a small handful of individuals doing this, as most people feel the same way as you. it is disgusting.

On my last few visits to Wymondham shops, I noticed there have been parcels of dog poo left there as well on the pavement.
