On Friday an item was taken from our front driveway. Luckily it had no real value to us, but it was taken without permission, whilst we were not at home. A white van, with 2 males were seen taking the item (at the time the person who saw them was unaware this was not authorised) and were driving a white van. There is a very good chance the same van was spotted slowly passing our house again, as they turned to pass the house for a second time (travelling at a slow speed), they saw our neighbour in the garden and drove away. It has made us quite nervous as to what their intentions for returning were and if they will return again.
It seems thieves are regularly operating in this area. Last night items were stolen from my garden and they had gone into a vehicle. I am now checking cctv and will report this to the police. Please be aware.
Not only is this village being ruined by un wanted development, and terrible traffic now a frequest target for thieves!
There do often seem to be vehicles - cars and vans - driving slowly around the village doing several laps having a good look up people's driveways. Saw a couple over the weekend. We should report anything this to the police on the non-emergency line and keep posting updates.
Remember to lock cars even if on your drive and always lock sheds and garages.

Just to add to this, a bark blue Nike holdall found on the grass meadow next to the playing field this morning whilst walking the dog.
The bag appeared to have been searched as the cream towel and men's swim shorts had been pulled out. Each and every bag pocket unzipped and opened, with only a bottle of shampoo left in the bag. No ID on the bag. It looked as if someone had walked from School Lane into the opening for the meadow and along the hedge towards the barn's for 20 metres in order to find a quiet place out of the way.
The bag and contents were dry suggesting that they may have been there a day or so. Not there on Wednesday when I walked around that meadow.
Did anyone see anyone with a blue holdall or acting suspiciously in School Lane earlier this week?
Along Bunwell Road there was another incident on Saturday and again on Sunday- during the evening and early hours.
Vehicles were entered and contents gone through.
This has been reported to the police.
Police were called , by someone on Sunday , to investigate someone in dark clothing tampering with Station platform equipment / control box . I was asked if I had seen anything , which I hadn't . Police asked me or anyone else to report anything that looks suspicious .
Went to Badminton last night in Old Buckenham The back road has been closed off and so the normal traffic stopped and thieves has taken everything they could from sheds and houses along that road whilst owners have been out and as we have a road closure pending.... we need to be very careful.
