yesterday i was on my way to work and could not get over the railway as the men were waiting for it to be repaired.A man came out and said he had witnessed it being hit by a lorry, a newalls lorry which didn’t stop and carried on.
how on earth can you hit the barrier? Unless you are going too fast or can’t wait.
it worry’s me the lack of common sense driving on this busy busy road.
no not all lorry drivers are so stupid, but please mr newall pay for your damage to the barrier and discipline your driver!
Newalls lorries drive on the pavement on Station Road, spew grit and particulates onto pedestrians when driving too fast, now apparently, they have damaged the level crossing barrier.
Does Newalls have the correct permits and licenses for operating a number of lorries from its premises on Bunwell Road?
Regarding 'Newalls' , residents of Spooner Row have an opportunity to OBJECT to the Newalls operation, via the 'BRECKLANDS COUNCIL' PLANNING SITE.
Background:
Newalls are retrospectively seeking to 'normalise' (legalise) their entirely unsuitable industrial plant operations at Heron farm Bunwell Road , as its NR17 Heron Farm site falls within the remit of Brecklands Council Planning Department.
If you think that NEWALLS' should relocate to an INDUSTRIAL ESTATE - to alleviate/reduce undesirable heavy traffic impacts via the ' vehicle rat run' through Spooner Row, please please register your feelings as a local resident on the Brecklands Council Planning portal. The Reference is : 3PL/2018/1262/F

(I am surprised that Brecklands did not notify all local residents, this is perhaps because Spooner Row is just 'over the border' in S Norfolk jurisdiction.)
Please use your 'voice' now. Thank you for allowing this appeal to be published here.
