Just a heads up that UK Power Networks will be turning off the electricity for certain homes in Spooner Row from 09:00 to 12.30 on 8th August.
The turn off will allow replacement of one of the pole mounted transformers located on Station Road. This infrastructure improvement will increase capacity of supply by 30% and has been brought about by the new houses at The Ridings.
These works have been planned to coincide with the road closure brought about by Norfolk Highways and the drainage scheme. One less road closure.
They come as a response to the multiple power cuts experienced over the last year or so and it is hoped that its provision will bring about an improvement in the stability of supply for the village.
Those properties effected should have received a leaflet through the door.
