Another miserable night of interrupted sleep last night.
The HGV's seemed particularly numerous and noisy in the early hours, one in particular could be heard coming from miles away if the time it took to arrive on Bunwell Road is an indication. Then around 3.00am a loud mechanised noise started up as well, it was pretty constant until I eventually got back to sleep sometime around 5.00am. Then it was dustbin lids outside our bedroom window at 7.00am. Who needs an alarm clock!
Does anyone have any idea what the steady mechanised noise is/where it comes from?
As the HGV's were diverted to a different route with the road closures on Station Road, why can't they continue using that alternative route? A rural village is no place to have noisy HGV's operating throughout the night.
Its because they hire out the machinery for a limited time only. They only do it continuously for a few days and nights per year. It's part of living in the countryside.
