The information on the Spooner Row website has been updated http://www.spoonerrow.f2s.com/index.htm  This is the independent website that is linked and maintained with this message board (you may need to clear your browser cache first to view update). You will find links to the local online Mercury newspaper, the Community Council, the school, village hall, church and pub websites. Links to local items of interest are also included.

In particular, the section under Local Proposal/Planning has been extensively updated.  This provides a list of local planning applications for quick reference (some of which are still on-going), the stages of the South Norfolk Local Plan and the emerging Greater Norwich Local Plan, which involves potential future development in Spooner Row http://www.spoonerrow.f2s.com/Local%20Issues.htm  (note the list does not include single developments or discharge of conditions).

Please be aware that the Greater Norwich Local Plan is in development and that its first interation was chucked back to the planners to review. This is a very important document which sets the rules for further permitted development in the 3 council areas. Consultation is planned for the new year. Very pleased that the messgae board is engaging here

Please note that South Norfolk District Council's internet links for all planning applications are no longer secure. You will need to go directly to the new council website at: https://www.southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk/planning-applications/find-planning-application

This is the current message displayed on South Norfolk Council's planning website:

"Attackers might be trying to steal your information from info.south-norfolk.gov.uk (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards).

This server could not prove that it is info.south-norfolk.gov.uk; its security certificate is from southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection."
