Has anyone lost a golden ****er Spaniel? I only saw it from a distance and tried to approach it but it bolted off. I spotted it in the fields behind the council houses walking along the fence.

My sons just got home and someone walking down chapel road asked him if he has lost a dog! He said it was a light coloured dog the person has got.

The dog is still missing and last seen yesterday evening heading up the road past the Boars pub. Please keep a lookout for him.

As someone that has been out and about looking for Reggie could I please ask those on the Message Board to remain vigilant.

If you see him, please quickly get back to the Message Board and add a clear description of where he was and at what time.  In addition, call the owners.  The contact numbers have already posted.

We need to find this dog and soon.

Read this on another news feed that Reggie was last seen on a farm track near the Bunwell Road towards Black Carr. This was late this afternoon. Let's all keep looking for him and hope he is home soon.

Just to add a bit of detail to that stated on the previous post.

Reggie was spotted at 1pm on the tree lined track close to the turning for Black Carr.  If you were leaving the village of Spooner Row and heading to Bunwell you would pass RJM Commercials yard on the right and just before you get to the junction for Black Carr, you have a farm track on the right that leads down to a copse.

Does anyone know the landowner for this field and the copse?

Good news!

Reggie has been caught and now back in the care of his owner.

Thank you to the resident at The Ridings for promptly calling it in this afternoon.

Owner now off to the vets, so fingers crossed.
