Just dropping you a note to let you know about Norfolk County Council’s new Covid Winter Support Scheme which is being launched today.
The scheme offers a package of support to help give families peace of mind in the run up to Christmas and over the winter months by helping those suffering from financial hardship due to Covid-19.
The support includes food vouchers for the school’s holidays and emergency food ingredient boxes, as well as help with fuel costs and everyday living expenses.
Please find attached some more detailed information about the scheme, what’s available and how organisations can support people to get the help that they need. There is also a campaign website www.norfolk.gov.uk/covidwintersupport which will go live when the scheme is launched tomorrow.
As usually we’d be extremely grateful if you could get this information out to your local communities. I have therefore also attached a campaign poster and it would be great if you could encourage everyone to display / distribute this too.
