Subject: Highways England roadworks notification- A11 between Thetford and Attleborough: resurfacing

Important roadworks information

Dear Sir/Madam

A11 between Thetford and Attleborough: resurfacing

I write to inform you that we’ll be carrying out essential resurfacing works between the above locations. During this work, we’ll also be renewing faded road markings and replacing damaged signs and road studs.

We plan to complete these works over 5 months, from Monday 4 January to Friday 28 May, subject to weather conditions.

Due to the extensive amount of work on this project, we have split the works into two phases. Phase 1 will consist of preliminary work as detailed below:

Phase 1: A11 lane closures between Thetford and Attleborough, in both directions, starting Monday 4 January to Monday 18 January (2 weeks)

   • Whilst the road will remain open, there will be 24/7 lane closures, throughout the week and weekends, on the A11 between Thetford and Attleborough. (Diagram 1)

For phase 2 of this project, you will receive further information once the arrangements have been finalised. We will keep you updated throughout the duration of the work if any changes occur.
