why anonymous??

Anyway there was also a green candidate in Humbleyard who scored slightly better than myself see the other post on this so academic and in case no one knows Humbleyard is basically Hethersett, Cringleford, Little melton and all points in between.

The results clearly mean that what will happen next time will be very different with a progressive alliance in place,  a single candidate in opposition against which for Forehoe you can easily see would result in a different winner

Well done to Daniel and Robert on their win and to all of the other candidates for putting themselves forward as candidates.

I am rather baffled about the position of Police Commissioner?   I am sure the person elected will be very good but I wonder why this is a political post?   There were some equally good and experienced  candidates, although not Conservative.   Was it a case of voters voting for the candidate as he was Conservative or did they not have enough prior information on the other candidates on which to base their vote?         It would be good to know.

Why did you stand in Hethersett. The Lib Dems used to criticise candidates who stood for election outside of their areas.

Did they? Please tell me where this policy is? although you could argue being a county election I was on the patch and shoe horned in on account of having a strong candidate in both Forehoe and Wymondham although of course for the next election in 2025 it is all change again as far as areas are concerned. The community area will now be part of Hingham.

In case you were wondering I put in a very strong rep about this suggestion telling them it is mad to do this, with no natural affinity or logical links to anything. As you would expect this was ignored, as the Boundary commission is very vunerable to the whims of the Government and don't they know it

The Boundary Commission is independent of Councils, Political Party's and the Government. I am sure that you know this but then again you are always very prone to showing your own political party bias.

of course anyone who supports a political party will be biased in its favour. I don't think Clr Halls has been wrong in showing who he represents.

please refer to para 108 and 116 of the final BC report where the FIVE objections were dismissed out of hand for no other reason than they did not like it and the County Council , who proposed this crazy split were in favour.  Astonishing.

The labour group were named but it changes nothing and their recommendations were ignored .

We are in South Wymondham DISTRICT  Ward , as now , have our own parish ward , are in a seperate parliamentary constituency to the rest of South Norfolk as is Wymondham, and have a County council division which crosses all three areas. What connection do we have Hingham which incidentally  has been retained by the tories yet again with an outright majority?  A Happy co incidence which of course swamps any opposition 'bubbles' in the areas ?? Hmmmmmm

Genius and drinking sessions in a brewery comes to mind

Oh and finally. I believe the next totally independent BC report will report next month on the revised parliamentary constituencies where it is widely predicted another drinking session will be missed for political convenience.

On paper they are independent, but curious is it not that their recommendations only ever benefit one party who just happen to pay their wages

We need these "opposition bubbles" as never before.
