A planning application has been filed with SNDC to erect 130 metre X 30 metre poly tunnels to farm turkeys on 44 acres of arable land adjacent to Guilers Lane and Wattlefield Road
According to Government guidelines at 1000 turkeys per hectare, that equates to around 20,000 turkeys.
I can't begin to imagine what the faeces of 20,000 turkeys is going to smell like on a hot day in August.
It’s Aug to Nov. It’s a farm in the country side. They sill be outside, no worse than cows, but I expect all the (..edited..) Covid evacuees will object to that as well.
