Hello

Can any one in Spooner Row get South Norfolk Radio on DAB?

South Norfolk Radio Advertise they Broadcast on DAB on it's Website. But unfortunately here in Spooner Row we can not find it on DAB. We have normal DAB Radios and we also have DAB+ Radios. Yes we have done full DAB and DAB+ Radio Scans many times. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Kind Regards

I think they have a option, not yet taken, from their site;

Its also where you can hear South Norfolk Radio with the player on the site, currently broadcasting on-line and on a range of radio streaming services too, and available on computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones and smart speakers, and also on devices such as Alexa. South Norfolk Radio hopes to eventually expand even further to be able to broadcast on the local DAB transmitter network too, and already has an option on this.

I emailed for avoidance of doubt, here is the official reply;

Thanks for getting in touch. We are DAB now in phase 1, Meaning we are receivable in the greater Norwich and upper South Norfolk area.

We piggyback off of the Norwich transmitter, not our own in Wymondham. Depending on where you are will decide if you can get us on the radio or not currently.

To find us, retune/scan on your radio and find the Norwich Trial subgroup, within this group we are called ‘South Norfolk Radio’ although some radios shorten our name to ‘South Norfolk’, If you see other stations such as Future Radio or NME 1 or NME 2, you are on the correct group as these stations also use the same transmitter.
