I have been asked by the Chair to raise some issues on the playing field. Please forgive my brevity
1. Dog fouling This has been good up to now by the vast majority but some fouling is not being picked up. To not do so is an offence to say nothing of the heath risks
2. The football goals have been moved by persons unknown and this has resulted in one of the side arms being bent and damaged. Please do not move them as they are very expensive to replace. On that issue there is a clear sign saying do not swing on the top bar . I had cause to tell FIVE young lads not to do this because of the damage risk and replacement costs involved .
3. Someone is helping themselves to the sand in the bags which are there to allow residents to fill sand bags in the event of flooding threats. Please do not do take the sand for building projects or any other reason other than for flood protection .
As to the sand disappearing how do you know is was not going to fill sand bags?Paul used the first bag for his sandbags.I thought residents helping themselves was the reason it was there in the first place.
Councillor Halls, I have it on very good authority and without mentioning names, that the sand was removed for the purpose of filling sandbags by a resident concerned at the coming storms.
