Spooner Row Village Hall Committee are proud to announce the opening of our new village Book Exchange. It stands adjacent to the Village Hall main entrance. It is open to all as a means to exchange books, jigsaws, plant seeds etc. and encourage social interaction. All work was carried out by a voluntary group from the SRVH Committee. This is phase two of re-vamping the frontage of the Village Hall after the installation of 3 new planters last month.

Hi Has anyone got a spare bookcase that is no longer required for donation to the new Book Exchange . Max height we can fit in is 66 inches or 167 cms . Thanks

Spooner Row, Wattlefield and Suton Village Hall Book Exchange is proving to be a great success. We have been inundated with lots of great books. It’s been so popular that we have had to increase the number of bookcases! We have also had quite a few plants and seeds for the BE. If you have not been to have a look at the BE then we encourage you to do so. In the last week or so we have had notes and cards and even coloured stones left saying how pleased with the new communal facility people are.
