Spooner Row, Suton & Wattlefield Village Hall November update.

Above is a picture from our Quiz & Chips night held on 18th November. As you can see it was a great success with a full house of tables booked and virtually the maximum amount of attendees. It was good to see some new faces from the villages. Due to the new kitchen we were able to offer Teas and Coffees for the first time. The total raised on the night was £727 which is a record for this event. A big thank you to all who attended, the generous donation of raffle prizes and all committee members who put this event together.

Over November and December we have several parties and Christmas fairs booked in by different groups .We will be putting the Christmas decorations in the Village Hall on Saturday 2nd December ( watch out for something additional this Christmas )

Doors with built in noticeboards will be made and fitted to the kitchen hatchway before Christmas.

New eco lighting has been fitted to the committee room and will be rolled out to the main hall during the re decoration in February.

The number of enquiries for bookings has increased since the Kitchen was opened some of which are from new sources.
