Is anyone able to help? The bottom of Guilers lane is lethal at the moment. There have been at least two incidents today already. I'm sure there used to be a grit box at the bottom of the lane, but not any more. If anyone has any9 grit just now I'd be happy to help make the road safe. Maybe you know if there any more in the village. I'll put it to the community council for future purposes.
There are two massive pot holes on the hill at the start of Guilers lane now. Please take care walking or driving as you can't see how deep they are now the are filled with water.
Where did the grit box end up then? Although it's dry at the moment, Guilers Lane has ice along the edges and passing places already. There is some sand on the playing field and a grit box with sandbags only in it but no grit and if there was some, it would be very inconvenient to use.
This has been an issue for a couple of years and nothing has happened ! No one on the council seem to take responsibility for things that need doing and then getting them done! A snail moves quicker
