We had a very well supported and successful Quiz& Chips evening in Nov and added over £500 to VH funds.
Our 2nd Bingo evening held in Dec was well attended. We went with a Christmas theme with music and licensed bar. This is becoming a popular event so will probably have a Bingo evening in February, watch this space.
December saw a lot of bookings for private parties, craft fairs, school plays etc. The Village Hall is proving very popular due to the up dated facilities and decor .
The Art club are now displaying there artwork in the committee room so if anyone is interested in viewing/ purchasing any pictures then take a look. New members are always welcome.
Some remedial work was carried out on the outside of the building in November, this was done to keep the shell of the building weather proof over the winter.

As a local who occasionally attends village hall events, I think the committee is doing a great job. The committee members are volunteers and can join or leave as and when. I am sure they all have other commitments. If Sue Hewitson has resigned then I would like to thank her for all the years she has served on the village hall committee.
