HI ALL

THE VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE WITH PERMISSION AND CO-OPERATION FROM THE COMMUNITY COUNCIL WILL BE LIGHTING THE BEACON ON THE SCHOOL PLAYING FIELD IN CELEBRATION OF 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF VE DAY AT 9.15 PM ON THURSDAY 8TH MAY. ALL WELCOME TO ATTEND.

The beacon looked great tonight. A fitting symbol to remember the end of the war and those who helped to secure the freedoms we enjoy today.

Hi All. A big thank you to all who attended the lighting of the Beacon on the school playing field in celebration of the 80th anniversary of VE Day. It was a fitting end to the villages VE Day celebrations. Our beacon was among 1000 other beacons that were lit around the UK.
