Where or what are our community council doing for our villages?

We have no village noticeboard in Spooner Row at the moment it has been missing for 6months. This has been deferred at the cc meeting since Christmas.

The woodland area in Suton is locked and not usable .Again action deferred at meetings.

The playing field grass has not been cut for a while and now looks like a wild meadow.

The verges along the roads are over grown and have been all year.

The pathway leading up to the school on station rd is dangerous as there are many dips and cracks in it.

No newsletter ( but as nothing is happening I’m not surprised ) Again action deferred at last 6 meetings.

last meeting in June cancelled do to not enough members for meeting.

Another resignation!

When are the community council going to stop deferring agenda items and start achieving things instead of sitting on £100000 of tax payers money?

Roll on elections in May next year!

The footpath is the responsibility of Highways at Norfolk County Council, and the overgrown verges are the responsibility of landowners.

As far as I am aware, there are only four parish councillors rather than seven currently on the council, so it's not surprising that things are deferred. It's a pity that more residents from the three villages can't come forward and sit on the community council rather than wait for the next election.

Like others, I think that some of the tax payers money should be spent on projects to benefit the community. I hope the money is earning good interest sitting in the bank.

I think you would happily get plenty of people coming forward to sit on the council if the (..edited..) one stepped down. Look at the history of all the resignations all due to one person....!

Re: The woodland area in Suton is locked and not usable

the gate is locked for vehicular access. Hardly a surprise!

The woodland is open to people, sometimes with their dogs and sometimes with their ponies.

it is in use daily. Maybe try and visit it rather than criticising the volunteers on the council.
