I would like to find the owner of a small Jack Russell with red collar. The dog came into my garden and chased the free range chickens and caused me to have to call a vet out to put 2 chickens down. The 2 remaining chickens are needing me to administer anti biotics and antiseptic cleaning of wounds on a daily basis.
I will be reporting this incident to the RSPCA.  I am not a happy person.

Report it to the Police as well as they are the only ones who can take action against the owner.  The RSPCA have no enforcement/punishment powers.

Sadly there are quite a few dog owners in Spooner Row who think it's acceptable to allow their animals to roam free, cr*p all over other peoples gardens and terrorise other peoples animals.

I take some exception to the statement "Sadly there are quite a few dog owners in Spooner Row who think it's acceptable to allow their animals to roam free, cr*p all over other peoples gardens and terrorise other peoples animals" - as usual it is a very small minority of people who cause these problems and get the rest of us tarred with the same brush.

As a dog owner myself, I know that the VAST MAJORITY of us in Spooner Row are very consciencious about cleaning up after our dogs and not allowing them to be in anyway a nuisance to anybody.  Sadly in society there are always those people who do not care about others - there is a fine example of this in the village where the same people who do not clean up after their dog also allow their kids to be a nuisance and the father had a fit of road rage on Queens' Street.

Peter, you might want to look at the farm at the top of Queen's Street in your search for the offender.

I'm sure you are right and it's probably also this SMALL MINORITY who ignore the village speed limits, dump their garden waste in the hedgerows, let their dogs bark incessantly, have no idea where their children are at all hours of the day and night or what they are doing (trashing the phonebox/throwing things at cars driving down Station Road past the village hall etc., etc) and all the other things which show that society and community is in sad moral decline.

............... oh, yes, and have totally unnecessary bonfires with complete disregard for the smoke drifting into other peoples gardens, houses, over washing etc!

Just in case anyone has forgotten there is a weekly refuse & garden waste collection service provided by South Norfolk AS WELL AS a household and garden waste site just a short distance away AS WELL AS skips available for hire for those big clear out jobs.

Rant over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not the only Jack Russell (and house mate) frequently on the loose either!

Got some of you like to moan alot dont you.

If the named jack russell belongs to a 90 old lady who can barely walk 10ft, are you all going to go round with your flaming torches and pitch forks?

Modern society is a bit different to how it was "when you where young" and to put it bluntly I cant see it going backwards either.

When I was a younger and I lived down chapel road I used to play all day after school without worrying about the old fart over the road moaning about us playing football making a noise. And I would go home when I felt like it, It doesnt mean my mother was a bad mother, It just means I wasnt molly coddled like I imagine you lot do most to your children.

Im sure the children will all apologize for having fun maybe all children should stay in and not be let out of the house play computer games watch TV, Then im sure you will all complain that children in the village are getting obese.

And regarding speeding its been covered before on here, Im sure every single 1 of you has broken the law at some point in your life,So maybe you will want to try practising what you preach about.

No doubt this post will get deleted as it might disturb the apple cart.
