Papers from the Wymondham Town Council Offices,which arrived saturday morning, state that the planning application 2012/1049 @ Chepore Lane will be discussed at their Planning,Lighting and Highway committee meeting to be held on 5th July 2012 in the Abbey Hall,Church Street, Wymondham at 6.30pm
As this application is on the agenda residents can speak before the meeting starts.Cllr Turner and myself will also be able to speak but not vote because we are not on the planning committee.
The Town Council does not determine planning applications - they are consultees.The determination will be carried out at a South Norfolk Council Planning meeting which will take the comments of residents and Wymondham Town Council into consideration during its deliberations and determination.
Residents can also speak at South Norfolk Council Planning meetings.I understand from the South Norfolk Planning Officer that this application will not be coming to South Norfolk's planning meeting in July. Date to be announced.
