I have received a letter from Norfolk County Council dated 3rd July 2013. which states:-

Re C140 Station Road Spooner Row - Footway maintenance

" Mott MacDonald are working in partnership with The Director of Environment Transport and Development,Norfolk Councty Council on the above scheme.

Following our last consultation letter dated 14 th May 2013, the footway maintenance works on C140 Station Road have now been re- scheduled to commence on or around 29/07/2013 for a period of 3 weeks.

The site extent, traffic management and diversion route will remain the same.We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience during this time.All accesses to properties/frontages will be maintained at all times during the operations."

While they are doing the road maintenance, it would be nice if the county council took the opportunity to lay some fibre optics for a decent internet connection?  the internet connection speed is rubbish here - what happened to the promise of a superfast broadband for norfolk?
