I have noticed a lone horse in the field on Station Road between the Church and the railway line. Does anyone know who this belongs to or has it just been left there?

It has been there for a few days now seems in reasonable health. By the breed/markings its probably one of the horses that appeared by the old barn on corner of Top Common,Travellers horse? It is chained up but seems pretty friendly. Is'nt that field owned by Persimmon? Who reckons they got permission?

I see the horse has now gone and the entrance to the field has been secured with a large tree trunk - I guess to keep unwanted trespassers out!

I wonder where the poor horse has gone now? I heard the field is owned by J Greetham and managed by J Alson.

The 'poor' horse is safely esconced in another field, where I believe he is quite welcome.
