I was very surprised to see a speeding sign telling the motorist how fast they are going warning them not to Tavel over 40mph ,but very disapointed at where it had been sighted ,about 500 yds from the pelican crossing which obviously tells the speeding motorist so break and slow Down.
IT would have been better having this sign further up tuttles lane east where the speeding motorist are breaking the speed limit daily , ideal would have been passed the garden centre .
And also we need them to sighted coming in the other direction any plans for this ?
As this is not in Cromwells ward I cannot answer this but if you refer the matter to the Town Clerk he can probably pass this onto the relevant Councillor to address , but please be advised that where these units are sited is strictly controlled by Highways and the Police and the location options are limited.
The 'rules' governing this are quite strict but a case for other locations can sometimes be made.
