For the sharp eyed amongst you you will have noticed that the phone box opposite the Boars on the corner has suddenly vanished and the area, grass seeded.
To be clear here, I, and I don't believe any of my fellow councillors were informed of this proposal but as is the way with big companies, it has been done as a fait accompli
Whilst acknowledging that the box has not worked for months, and given the rise of the mobile phone army, perhaps this does not matter too much as long as you are on a network that works !! but it would have been nice to have been asked.
This has not been sanctioned as far as I am aware of, by WTC, but let us hope that now that expense has gone , perhaps we can get some fibre optic broadband in lieu
