I am thinking about setting up a car scheme to cover the sub parishes of Wattlefield, Spooner row and Suton mainly for Hospital appts , Doctors and perhaps shopping trips. We currently do not have a scheme covering these areas and of course Wymondham has quite good links via Public transport, so no need although there is a Good neighbour scheme being proposed to cover the whole parish of Wymondham ( we hope ) where some transport might be included. However to be clear, my priority is the 3 sub parishes NOT Wymondham
Whilst there is the Flex bus they cannot wait at the Hospital to return home and as such the scheme would be door to door. Apart from all the hoops one has to go through to do this there is obviously an initial need to establish a need !! Hence this post
Please bear in mind your neighbours needs , who might not have a computer or their own transport and the scheme is chargeable but not at Taxi rates for Tax purposes.
