Wymondham - Tuttles Lane East Roundabout Re-Design:
Road closures and traffic management for surfacing works
Works to resurface the Tuttles Lane East / Norwich Road roundabout and surrounding roads in Wymondham will be carried out as part of the wider, ongoing scheme. These works will include the removal of the existing surfacing, the reprofiling of the carriageway, and the laying of new road surfacing. These works are due to take place between the evening of 26 November 2016 and the morning of 7 December 2016, in overnight shifts from 6pm to 7am, and will take place in sections, with planing and profiling scheduled between 26 November and 2 December and surfacing expected to take place from 4 December onward. These dates are dependent on weather conditions.
Road closures will be required at the roundabout on Sunday 27 November and Sunday 4 December between 6pm and 7am. Multi-way signals will be in use during the remainder of the works.
Diversion routes will be in place during the closures. Diversion plan attached. These routes will be signed and some routes may require the use of the A11 trunk road. The County Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
The work will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
