Including one house which is on with 5 agents (tip - Don't try to sell your house with 5 agents at once, people will wonder what is wrong).

We already know about the new houses and the HGV route and the broadband and the split, anything else we should know about. Where is everyone going?

Good question. The new houses aren't exactly flying off the shelf despite being reduced.

I think residents are getting fed up with many things: the lack of infrastructure, congested narrow roads that are impassable and dangerous (stopping us from getting to work), cars on pavements, localised flooding, too many unsuitable developments with planning permission and many more houses in the pipeline (see GNLP's fields of red). Residents are put under too much hassle and stress caused by uncaring councils (life is hard enough). No wonder people are leaving. Who would want to live here with all this going on?

Unfortunately I completely agree. We do not know everyone's circumstances however I really don't think all this building and current problems within the village. Such a shame.

Good luck to you Peter. I moved to Spooner Row 2 years ago after spending my previous 34 years in Wymondham. I have no regrets and love village life. I have concerns about how long that way of life will remain but also was aware that development was likely when I moved. I will be devastated if the field next to my home is built on and I will do everything in my power to protect my way of life. However, I try not to obsess about what might happen and instead focus on what we do have. As I type this I can hear songbirds and I have a newly refurbished and excellent pub down the road. The village hall, school and church remain the hub of our community and the fete is a personal highlight each summer. I am concerned for the future but am trying to also enjoy the present and I can completely understand why people still remain keen to move here.
