I am writing to each town and parish council across South Norfolk to advise of an emerging crime trend. Village halls and social clubs are being broken into and items stolen from within.
We will be distributing signs for display in prominent locations and ask that you remove or securely lock away all valuables. Please ensure that your village hall/ social club has a monitored alarm system and that your key holder details are up to date.
Police will be increasing patrols, but urge local communities to remain vigilant and always report suspicious activity.
