yesterday (7th Dec) at 1410 I took my dog for a walk but could not get into the car park as there was an empty 4 X 4 Kia parked in the middle of the access route into the carpark, at the nearest point to the school entrance . A Van was leaving having delivered something to the school so I literally had to back my car out into the main road so he could pass me.
The car park was a bit crowded I suppose having only about 15 spaces 5 yards further on !!
To whoever you are Madam perhaps you would care to give some consideration to other users of the car park, owned by Wymondham Town Council incidentally, when parking your car in such an irresponsible and selfish manner
I am sure there was good reason for this perhaps they were unloading or loading as I find it hard to believe someone would just leave their car especially if there are spaces. Perhaps you should have gone into the School?
The good LADY returned to her car as I went off with the dog so no doubt about the gender and appeared not to be the slightest bit bothered as she turned her car around in the car park and drove off
I have to say since, this has not been repeated and car parked in the right place , unless we have two such cars or more of similar make being used of course. I did not list the Reg number in the post quite deliberately.
Before anyone else gets bothered by this perhaps you would care to think about the furore that would have ensued if, as a dog walker, I just abandoned my car in the car park and consequently prevented parents and guardians from picking up their children in a safe manner
It would have only been about twenty minutes. Why am that bothered ? It is because I see daily abuse of disabled parking spaces and parent and toddler spaces at supermarkets by normal people when they seem to think that being there for just a few minutes is an acceptable reason to act in this manner.
The driver in the Dyson van witnessed this as well
I will not be commenting further although I am always perplexed as to why people are happy to sound off when they feel they can hide behind the ANON label. I don't
I get fed up with the inconsiderate car parking as well. The car park and playing field are a community asset for all to use and enjoy (including residents) and not just for the school's use. It is owned by the parish council and that includes the car park.
