Many of you will know of have seen Robbie a black greyhound /Lab cross? who was always around the village being walked by Betty and Graham lain from Granary loke for many years and immortalised in many of Graham's pictures, who is big noise in the Art club in the village.
Robbie had lost weight dramatically recently and whilst still as sharp as a button, a visit to the vet confirmed the worst and he had to put down.
Graham who does not do computers will not see this message but I felt that a message to tell you all the sad news was necessary. He was wonderful dog with a friendly demeanour and I will miss him
Very sad to hear this as Robbie was best mate/dog to my dog Jake for many years. I will miss him trying to beg for biscuits from my pocket .RIP Robbie.
Please pass on our regards my father knew Graham and Robbie for many years and was just asking after him as his last 2 dogs were dog friends I hadn't seen him recently and a neighbour has said longer walks were becoming a struggle, rest in peace and get those long dog walks buddy....regards Julie Toms Daughter Queen Street.
