Would those responsible for the deposition of broken glass , dog poo bags which require incineration for safe disposal and energy drink cartoons into the CONCRETE bin as well as sweet wrappers please use the red bin for Dog poo bags and the green bin for general waste
This bin which had clearly been pressed down on numerous occasions was crammed full of dangerous waste and has not been collected by the crew , which they do free of charge incidentally, for reasons of Health and Safety.
I do not blame them
I personally emptied today about 80 % of what was present , using a heavy duty bin bag which was full, using heavy duty gloves. It was a disgusting mix of the above and if this abuse of its use continues, I will ask the council to remove it altogether given that we have TWO perfectly adequate receptacles just yards away.
I look forward to your co operation on this matter
To be clear this post has come from me NOT the council
Some people are disgusting with their rubbish and not a pleasant job for others to clear away too.
Maybe the concrete bin should be removed or could it be made into a planter to stop the dumping of unsuitable rubbish. Are people aware that the green coloured waste bins are for general waste and not for recycling waste?
Well done whoever for putting your dog poo in bright yellow plastic bags.
However nil points for putting them all in the concrete bin just 15 yards for the red dog pin bin just round the corner . Dog waste has to be incinerated and cannot contaminate the general waste stream.
This bin is not emptied by the bin men and once again I have had to physically remove the numerous bags from the bin along with and additional array of disgusting decaying material and have added soil to the bin so whoever might get the hint.
Whoever is doing this please immediately desist, use those strange appendages attached to your lower half and put them in the CORRECT bin and if you know who it is , Bright yellow bags is a big clue , perhaps you could have a gentle word about what is to be very frank lazy and irresponsible behaviour
