Hi all,

 

Just to give you a heads up, traveller youths; either from Chepore Lane or London Road, have started racing around our streets on unlicenced motorbikes, without helmets, and driving up peoples driveways to their houses. They are verbally abusing local residents and acting in an antisocial and threatening manner.

I don't know if they are deliberately trying to provoke a response or reaction or whether they are using the bikes to check out peoples property.

These people clearly think they are above the law and think they can behave in any manner they choose. Whatever their motives are i advise caution if out and about and to check the security of your properties.

They also think that the isolation instructions from the government regarding coronavirus does not apply to them, but it is not suprising that they think they are abive the law........

Today officers attended Chepore Lane, Spooner Row and seized a stolen motor cross motorcycle and two Quad bikes suspected to be stolen. These are now subject to vehicle examination by

@NSRAPT

. One person has also been reported for obstruct police.#PS895 #PC460

If this is true, it should thankfully put a stop to the motorbike anti-social behaviour which nobody should have to tolerate.

isn’t that the old traveller site, not the new one? I thought they were not bothering anyone and it was the new site we were worried about?

Someone on a cream Vespa style scooter has just gone over (2.15pm) the level crossing on Station road heading towards The Boars junction.

Have to say he did not look that young but was not wearing a helmet.
