Things are difficult enough at the moment without the piles of excrement that are proliferating around the village, in particular, Top Common. The last thing we need are parasitic, bacterial or viral infections spreading between our dogs. And remember, as well, more people and children are walking these routes and people can catch parasites and zoonotic diseases from dog poo too.
If you don't want to touch the poo bins provided in the village then carry your filled bags home and dispose of them in your own bin. Or carry a spare bag or disposible glove to lift the bin lid. And use hand-gels/sprays. It's not rocket science.
Please, at this uncertain time, do your bit to keep the village clean as well so we can all, humans and dogs, get out and safely enjoy some exercise and fresh air.
Being a responsible dog owner I find this behaviour outrageous and arrogant. I came across one (from a large dog I may add) metres from one of our 4 poo bins!
Pick up after your dogs please - we all live here and most of us are responsible respect others who share our roads an paths.
