Hmm....not many addresses on Chepore Lane. I wonder where they live.....

Tempting as it is to assume they live in Chepore I think it highly unlikely as messing on their doorstep is not the norm, but if you lived not so far away and had no respect for the Law and were known 'opponents' this might be part of a wider startegy knowing how feeble the Law is when dealing with certain sections of the community.

The Police news report above clearly states that the two arrested resided at the address on Chepore Lane. Potential problems were expressed by many residents to SNC years ago during the Council's site allocation and G&T planning approval. Our concerns were dismissed by SNC where certain individuals from the Council behaved quite rudely to residents at that time as I remember. It was not professional to insult.

The two men named in the EDP article have both been linked back to the travellers site on Chepore Lane.

Chepore Lane is a private site and not council run.

The news story also says that one was charged with obstructing the police and disorderly behaviour. I feel sorry for the police with having to deal with this behaviour, particularly during this highly contagious coronavirus outbreak which everyone knows can be deadly.
