A request please. If you have visitors or workmen please ask them not to park on the pavements in the village. The pavements are for people so that they can walk safely through the village. This inconsiderate parking forces pedestrians on to the road in to the path of traffic, particular dangerous if the poor parking takes places near a corner. It also forces those who are disabled or have children in pushchairs on to the road. I am sure no one would want to be the route cause of someone being injured, particularly children.

I believe reporting this to the police is wasting valuable police resources.
This is a community issue, each of us should be looking out for and being considerate to our neighbours. A Community is built upon good relationships, trust and collective support to each other.
As I said in my previous two posts, the reason I posted this here is to make people in our community think about how they impact their neighbours. As I said previously I will not be wasting valuable police time with this. The following BBC article suggests that it is not actually an offence to park on a pavement: BBC Article
The following is also worth reading, but would again probably not be worth undertaking at a Village level: www.askthe.polic.uk
In line with my first post, as a community we should be considerate to our neighbours and not risk their safety.
