Hi,

I have just spotted a blue tipper truck dumoing waste hardcore on Chepore Lane and the drive off to the traveller site on London Road.

Did you take a picture for evidence and have you reported the incident to South Norfolk Council?  Not sure that the Police would get involved in this, but might be worth a quick call to 101.

Daz, the following text and link are from South Norfolk Council’s website we might help you report the issue:

Fly-tipping

Fly-tipping is waste that has been illegally dumped on land. It is a criminal offence which can result in a Fixed Penalty Notice or prosecution in the Magistrates or Crown Court.

We will investigate cases where someone has witnessed an incident, or there is evidence to suggest where the waste has come from, or who has dumped it.

We will remove waste that has been fly-tipped on public land or land we own.

Unfortunately we do not remove fly-tipping that has been dumped on private land; this is the responsibility of the land owner. We will however investigate these incidents and take enforcement action where possible.

This time somebody has flytipped the detritus from a large laurel hedge at the bungalow (Mr Dennison's) on Station Road.

Dog mess, litter, flytipping, what is wrong with people?

Does the person who dumped the laurel detritus know that he/she can arrange for a brown bin from the council to remove green waste!
