9.15am today {21-10-20} 2 guys come round back door looking about, wanted to know if we wanted tank emptied, also did we have anything we wanted to get rid of.
how dare they just walk round back of my house.
good job i have live CCTV and couple of family in at the time.
this is the first time this has happened, do make you wonder how is living within a certain radius of Spooner Row .
Some years back I had a couple of men go around the back of my property and try the back door with a lame excuse that they were looking for work and selling something. I found out they did this to several neighbours and even went inside by the back door of one house without being invited. This was when I lived in a different village a few miles from Speeon Row. I called the police who said that criminal groups target an area, they are from a completely different region and usually only stay a few hours before moving on.
Well who knows if they are local or not! Neighbours please be vigilant,look out for one another. Be as security tight as you can,dont give them reason to suspect something good is waiting to be stolen.Don’t advertise,re recycling what you have just bought.
cameras are pretty cheap these days,and dogs are a good deterrent,although they have also been taken as a new crime.
report anything suspicious,take number plates.let’s try and keep spooner row crime free and not another statistic !
