Spooner Row Community Council would like to express its relief at the decision received earlier today from HM Planning Inspectorate regarding the traveller site in Suton, located on London Road.
The Planning Inspectorate has ruled that refusing the two applications received by South Norfolk District Council in 2019 was correct and that the traveller site occupation was in breach of planning guidelines. Both appeals were refused.
Our position as your Community Council was always with reference to upholding the planning rules and as such we are pleased this has been maintained.
We would also like to thank you and the wider local community for their measured response to this breach of planning.
