I've been wondering for quite a while who my fellow villagers are using the forum. I'm genuinely perplexed as to why almost everyone posts as anonymous. I'd really like to get to know more forum users. If you had something personal or unkind to say then I can understand it but most comments seem pretty normal chat. It could be that the name part of posting is missed which makes anonymous the name by default. Would anyone care to post a hello? I'm Viv by the way and have lived in the village for 13 years, I love our village with its interesting history, activities and people.
I quite agree with you, it is nice to know who you are communicating with and therefore getting to know other villages. My wife Nicky and I moved in to Hill Road 7 years ago. We didn’t move far, only from Shipdham, so we now live centrally to most of our family who are in other South Norfolk villages. By the way I do enjoy your wildlife spotting. Not sure if you had spotted the Red Kites earlier this summer, we saw and heard a lot of them back in June/July.
Hi Paul, we had a house off Pound Green Lane in Shipdham for 17 years, although we had rented out lately, as we lived abroad and in other parts of the UK for work.
